Best AI Girlfriend Apps You Can Try for Free
There are more AI girlfriend apps than ever, and most of the marketing sounds identical.
You do not need a credit card to find out whether an AI companion clicks with you. These apps all offer a real free way in.
Free Picks Worth Your Time
Spicy Chat — a free-tier-heavy chatbot with a huge community character library. The free lane is enough to test a generous free tier and sheer character count.
Brazzers AI — an adult-studio-branded companion aimed squarely at explicit roleplay. The free lane is enough to test unfiltered adult content.
Candy AI — a polished all-rounder known for realistic chat, image generation and a slick onboarding flow. The free lane is enough to test image quality and character realism.
Ourdream — a companion app that leans hard into photo and short-video generation of your character. The free lane is enough to test visual content and customization.
GirlfriendGPT — a character-driven platform built around user-made personas and open-ended roleplay. The free lane is enough to test character variety and roleplay freedom.
What to Expect From a Free Tier
Free tiers usually cap messages, media and memory — they are a test drive, not the full experience. Use them to compare chat quality, then upgrade only the one you keep opening.
